CAPA or corrective and preventive action is the process of investigation and the solving of problems, often resulting in non conformities. CAPA requires effective root cause analysis and corrective action/s to be established to prevent recurrence of the problem. The optimum CAPA is one that assures that the problem and associated non conformity is never again experienced.
